Abstract

To manipulate data records, Chen and Tung¹⁾ have proposed a one-dimensional array of equally sized shift-register loops which are linked by individually controlled flow-steering switches. We suggest a very simple switch-control scheme for this uniform ladder by which data management on sequentially organized files can be performed with great efficiency.
