Registration Process

The registration desk is located on the ground floor of the ICC Sydney. All participants must visit the registration desk to collect their Conference materials and name badge before gaining access to the Conference. Some workshops begin at 9am on Monday 05 September, and the VLDB conference itself will begin promptly at 1800 on Monday 05 September 2022 with the Welcome Reception. Alternatively, you are welcome to meet us on Tuesday 06 September 2022, for the Opening Ceremony, starting at 0745, all delegates are requested to be seated in Parkside Ballroom by 0745 on Tuesday 06 September 2022.

We encourage you to register as early as possible to allow for easy access to the Conference Opening.

If on arrival at the Conference you have not paid for your registration, you will be directed to the cashier to make payment. All outstanding accounts must be settled upon registering for the conference. Please arrive early to avoid any delays.

Conference Welcome Reception

Delegates are invited to meet in the Parkside Ballroom of the ICC to network with fellow colleagues. We invite all delegates to enjoy locally sourced canapes and delicious wines in a relaxed setting. We will also have a guest appearance from some of Australia’s most famous animals!

Cost

Included in the full Conference registration fee for Full In-Person Registration and Full Student In-Person Registration. This function is not included for day delegate, student day delegate or virtual registrations.

Additional tickets

A $70 (includes GST). Additional tickets may be purchased at the Registration Desk, subject to availability.
