Fatma Ozcan For two decades of research in query languages and query processing, and her development of new technologies that have had significant impact on widely-used data management products.

2022 VLDB Early Career Award:
Sudeepa Roy For her work on helping users to understand query results, and on  generating explanations for the computations that lead to them.
