Humboldt-Universität

The conference will be held at the main building of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin which is located in the old center of Berlin. The Main Building originated in the Palace of Prince Heinrich (brother of Friedrich II.) and offers a representative atmosphere. The rebuilding after the second world war destruction and additional reconstructions during the last years have added some modern elements to the interior. As a center of science and education, the Humboldt University has a long tradition with hosting conferences.

Tegel airport (major) is located in the Northwest within the city area. Most international and domestic flights start and arrive there. The Humboldt University is about 30 minutes away by public transport.

Airport Tempelhof

Tempelhof airport located within the residential areas in the South is Berlin's oldest airport. It served as the most important supply connection to the outer world during the blockade of 1948-1949. Suited for mainly smaller planes, this airport connects Berlin with German and European cities. The Humboldt University is about 30 minutes away by public transport.

Airport Schönefeld
